Dr Laura Pogue
MBChB MRCGP DFFP CDH
Dr Pogue qualified in 1993 at the University of Liverpool. She joined Patterdale Lodge in 2007 and is a GP Trainer & Medical Educator (in Wigan). She is also the Clinical lead for Mental Health for St Helens CCG.

Dr Elizabeth Johnson
MBChB MRCGP DRCOG DFSRH
Dr Johnson studied at Leicester University and completed her GP training in Rutland. She has a specialist interest in Women’s Health and Contraception. Outside of work she enjoys sunny days and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Goubran Eskander
MBChB DOHNS (2014) MRCS ENT (2015) MRCGP (2021) MSc ORL
Dr Eskander qualified in Egypt. He had his higher surgical ENT training at Ain Shams University. He undertook his GP training in Liverpool. He holds a Diploma in ENT from the Royal College of surgeons of England and a Master Degree from Ain Shams University. He practiced as an ENT surgeon both in Egypt and in different hospitals in England. He joined the practice in 2022. He has a special interest in a wide range of ENT conditions; including ear problems, vertigo and balance disorders, nasal sinus diseases, and throat problems.

Dr Suchismita Sanger
MBBS MRCGP DFSRH PGDip Diabetes
Dr Sanger qualified in India who completed GP training in the North West. She joined Patterdale Lodge in 2010 and has interests in Child Health and Diabetes. She has a post graduate degree in diabetes gained whilst working at the Practice and is involved in teaching medical students.

Salaried GPs

Dr Charlotte Monument
MBBS MRCGP PCME
Dr Monument studied at Hull York Medical School and qualified as a GP in York in 2013. She is a GP trainer and medical educator with an interest in Mental Health. Dr Monument started working at Patterdale Lodge in April 2021 and has recently gained the Practice accreditation as a Veteran-friendly practice. Additionally, she is interested in improving the Practice’s carbon footprint and making the GP surgery ‘greener’.

Dr Judith Hayton
Dr Hayton studied at The University of Edinburgh Medical School, graduating in 2014. After working in Scotland for a few years, she undertook her GP training in Merseyside, including time at Patterdale Lodge. After qualifying as a GP in November 2020, she has continued to work at the practice in a salaried role.

Dr Lucie Griffith
