Practice manager
The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
Angela Cunliffe
Office manager
The office manager is responsible for systems which are in place for the smooth running of reception and admin duties. The office manager is also responsible for overseeing the appointment system and the GPs schedules.
Graham Johnson
Data manager
The data ,anager is responsible for all aspects of the IT systems within the practice and ensuring that all data is managed in a safe and confidential manner.
Practice clinical pharmacists
Louise Bradbury
Helen Garner
Louise and Helen are our clinical pharmacists. They will see patients to carry out medication reviews and for the management of chronic diseases, as well as supporting the GPs with medication issues within the practice.
The clinical pharmacists can review your medicines, discuss how they are working for you and carry out health checks such as taking your blood pressure. They can also arrange for you to have blood tests.
Our pharmacists help to keep patient medication lists up to date following hospital admissions or clinic appointments.
Louise Bradbury graduated with a pharmacy degree at Aston University in 1999 and completed her pre-registration training at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Since then she has worked in a number of hospitals and most recently for 14 years at Warrington Hospital as a medicines information pharmacist. Since joining the practice in October 2017, Louise has qualified as a non-medical prescriber in 2019 at Chester University.
Helen Garner graduated with a pharmacy degree at Bradford University in 2000 after completing pre-registration training in both hospital and community pharmacy. She has over 18 years’ experience working as a clinical pharmacist in hospital pharmacy during which time she attained a master of science degree in clinical pharmacy. She joined the practice in 2018 and has since completed a non-medical prescribing qualification through Edge Hill University.
Elizabeth Twist
Elizabeth is our practice pharmacy technician. She works alongside the practice pharmacists dealing with medication-related queries. Elizabeth qualified as a technician in 1998 and prior to joining the practice worked at Warrington hospital as a clinical pharmacy technician for 22 years.
Reception and administrative staff
Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with patient records, coding of documents from other medical services.
